A good ghostwriter will write your book on your behalf from start to finish. Most ghostwriters will ask for some rough notes about what you want your book to be about, the genre, the theme, and if it’s fiction some info about characters, etc.

Most will also set up interviews you via phone, or skype, to quiz you about various aspects of your book. That way they’ll get a better idea of what you’re trying to achieve.

When I ghostwrite a book or ebook on behalf of a client I often ask them to fill out a mini questionnaire so that I’m completely clear about the project. I’m only happy once I can see the path stretched out ahead, with no mist in sight.

It’s a good idea to hire a ghostwriter for your project when you don’t have the time to write it yourself, if you realise that you don’t shine at writing, or if you’re just plain lazy, lol!
